Vinho da Ordem – Tinto (Red)

Very different end product from Beiras. Wine without DOC, produced in a century-old vineyard at the foot of Serra da Estrela, difficult to identify which grape varieties. So far it was possible to identify rufete, marufo, alfrocheiro.

Light bodied but with 14•, an old barrel nose, wood and lots of fruit, but also some honey, fresh in the mouth, tannins present, with many spices, a red wine whose serving temperature is 12 degrees.

Different but very pleasant, for connoisseurs with an open mind.
